Young, Ambitious, & Beautiful

ReeJade Richmond: Y.A.B. Member & Venture Partner

I am the Founder of Search for Her Existence, LLC (S.H.E.). S.H.E. is focused on helping women discover their greatness, by providing support tools such as: motivational speaking workshops and seminars, wellness and nutritional coaching, and business consulting. S.H.E. has been and will continue to be providing these support tools to the Detroit Metropolitan area and worldwide through online tools such as Skype and YouTube. Eventually S.H.E. will launch it’s “I AM S.H.E.” Campaign to help empower women to let them know that they are GREAT. I have been blessed with so many opportunities despite many set backs. I feel that if I was given an opportunity to be GREAT, why not help other women become GREAT as well. I graduated from college at a young age and then pursued a law degree from Cooley Law School. My educational capabilities have allowed me the opportunity to help those who may not have had an opportunity to pursue their goals personally, professionally and/or academically. I plan to keep using my talents that God has bestowed upon me to help women discover their greatness in addition to letting them know that they are Young, Ambitious, and Beautiful.

I am Asia, and I am Young AMBITIOUS & Beautiful. I am a Detroit native, Michigan State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Media & Communication Technology with a specialization in Media Management Research. My ultimate goal is not only for me but for the city that raised me as well. I want to bring the entertainment industry back to Detroit. To accomplish that goal I have studied both in and out of the industry, to gain as much insight as I possibly can.  I have interned with places such as the BET Network and working with one of the top promotions agencys in the country. Currently I am a fellow with the Challenge Detroit revitalization program. The program has brought positive national attention to the city of Detroit. I have also had the opportunity to design a billboard for the United Way of Southeastern Michigan, sponsored by Crain’s Communications. When asked what I want to do with my life, even as an adult I always answer “take over the world”. I am excited to be apart of YAB because I love being around women on their way to the top. See you there…

I am Daisy Bee Sutton, one of the Co-Founders of Y.A.B. and Co-Owner of The Style Dolls: Wardrobe Styling and Image Consulting Company. While pursuing a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management yet craving to uplift and unite fellow successful young women, I knew Y.A.B. would work as a genius plan. My ultimate goal is to have a corporate position as a Fashion Buyer for a major retailer and blossom The Style Dolls into the ultimate Glam House; providing every essential need for the couture fashion industry. On my journey of becoming a fashion icon, I hope to inspire young women all over the world. Despite many hardships and setbacks, I have more faith and determination than ever. I’ve always been a dream chaser; but one day I decided to wake up and turn my dream into a reality…and now I am actively living my dream. I am Young Ambitious & Beautiful….and so are YOU…

As a Michigan State University Graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations and Policy, I have set myself up to have a background that can flourish in multiple areas. I have decided to utilize my degree to further pursue a Masters of Arts in Public Policy from The New England College. As an MAPP student, I currently work as fellow for the Millenial Mayors Congress Program through the Michigan Suburbs Alliance. There I am able to utilize my skills in leadership to delegate ideas to members of Congress and Michigan Mayors as well as the younger population of Michigan to adequately implement policies that are beneficial to all. My ultimate goal is to develop my own legislative consulting firm. At 50, I plan to retire and become a philanthropist while owning the businesses that have been cultivated from my work experience. I see YAB as the quintessential network for young women of color to utilize. It will be both uplifting and resourceful, as well as provide tools for other young women to use as stepping stones to their own personal success. We will create a sense of sisterhood that is not necessarily seen in everyday society. We will be the examples of Young Ambitious & Beautiful women.

Detroit, Michigan native and Michigan State University graduate as well as Chicago entrepreneur and DePaul University Graduate student, I have always had a passion for helping others and looking fabulous while doing it. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Arts and Technology, I decided to use those skills to start my own company Just The Beginning LLC, which provides services to start-ups, non-profits, and existing small businesses. I believe that all African American girls and women, including those from distressed backgrounds have the potential to become Young, Ambitious and Beautiful, especially with the support and encouragement from those women that have been there. Remember: this is Just The Beginning.
