I am Fashion!

My life 2 years ago compared to my life now….you wouldn’t even believe the transformation! I was trapped in a miserable world and I had no clue how I would ever escape. I was stuck where I thought was my only option, even though I knew it wasn’t my calling. I had tons of dreams but I lacked the action tool. I was determined to meet the expectations of others around me, I just didn’t want to let them down. I was afraid to step out of the box so I stay in a familiar, uncomfortable situation. On the journey to find myself, I got a tattoo of a heart inside of a star, that read “fearless”,I did not realize how much power was actually behind this illustration. I later began a mentoring program for teen girls called Young, Ambitious, & Beautiful. The impact YAB had on the girls was amazing! Inspiring people with such small gestures was the greatest joy of my life. Encouraging young girls to follow their dreams made me realize that I needed to do the same. One day while sitting on my couch, I randomly decided that I would not attend MSU any longer, I started an intense research on fashion schools and began to create my personal statement. From that very day, I began living my life if the Fashion World, two months later I was officially a student, studying Fashion Marketing and Management! While fashion had always been a major part of my life, I wanted it to BE MY LIFE! Every single day I researched, networked and began to perfect my craft. Here it is one year later….I am matriculating through my fashion program, I have held several intern positions, and I am the Co-Owner of The Style Dolls, a Wardrobe Styling and Image Consulting company.  I have several (secret) projects in the works and much more to contribute the Business of Fashion! I had a vision, I created a plan, I consulted God, I eliminated my fear, and I followed my dream! I realized my own potential of being a Young Ambitious & Beautiful woman!
